    Jasmin is a West Seattle girl, a close friend of a childhood playmate of my daughter’s. ALL is a tough disease. This young woman is a mom to 3 children, and they and her hubby need her around. She has a donation site http://www.gofundme.com/fzi6g8

    and consider getting on the bone marrow donation list…if it can’t help her, it will help someone else, for sure. Thanks.

    It can be a devastating, fast moving disease. I feel so sad for her, and hope that with good care she can beat it.

    Thank you for posting this Jan. Jasmin is still in a state of shock as are all her loved ones. She is so positive and strong, I know she will beat this! We are trying to raise money for her and her family so that they may be able to concentrate on treatment and healing without the stress of money and bills. She and her husband live paycheck to paycheck like most of us and have recently bought a house. Jasmin will be unable to work for at least six months. If anyone is willing to forgo their Starbucks or a beer this weekend and donate even $5, it would be greatly appreciated! We are working on fundraising besides the gofund me page, but this is a start. If you can’t donate, but might take the time to send up a prayer or good wishes that would be wonderful too. Jasmin is a former west seattleite and her mother lives here. She now lives in Kent. Thanks for reading.

    SG, this community has been terrific to me in the last few years as I went through dialysis, open heart surgery, kidney transplant. They’ve been very giving, and I’m hoping that their hearts will open up again…that’s what community does :)

    I lost my sister to this. The community helped my family big time. So happy to Live in West Seattle!
