jissyParticipantI had mine done at White Center Bartell’s.

squareeyesParticipantI’m pretty sure the AAA Travel office in Jefferson Square will do passport photos.
Not WS, but Costco does passport photos.

SueParticipantI had mine done at AAA in Jefferson Square. I don’t know if you have to be a AAA member though, or if it just gets you a better price.

datamuseParticipantThe Rite Aid in Westwood does them. (Probably the other locations too.)
The post office in Westwood is supposed to, but every time I’ve gone there, the equipment has been broken.

addParticipantWe’ve used Walgreens on 35th. I’m sure most of the drugstores with a “photo shop” can do it for you – the cost is around $10-15. You can also take your own at home as long as you follow the guidelines. http://travel.state.gov/content/passports/english/passports/photos/photos.html

seaopgalParticipantWe got ours at RiteAid, walk in. OK quality but you have to cut them yourself.

wakefloodParticipantNot sure but I’ve used the Fed Ex/Kinkos down off Michigan by the I-5 onramp for that very thing.
The UPS store next to Safeway in Jeff Sq?

ElizagraceParticipantRite Aid or Bartells. We just got my son his passport at the SW community center and it was a breeze! Both parents, baby, picture, check, our gov. issued ids, no wait, pleasant people. done.

mpentoParticipantIf you do a “passport” search on google maps you should see some options. I used walgreens recently and it worked fine.

Parentof2ParticipantIf you have a computer highly suggest you take them yourself and load them in the picture printer at Bartels. Save yourself the $15 or more from the post office.

trickycooljParticipantCostco! It was no more than $10? Been about a year since I got them.

PangolinPieParticipantParentof2 has a great point; I did my own, cropped it in Photoshop to the specs here:
http://travel.state.gov/content/passports/english/passports/photos/photo-examples.html
I printed mine on a high-quality printer I had at work at the time, but any prints that meet the requirements should work. Also, that way you can take as many pictures as you like and pick the good one to use.

GAnativeParticipantGet your picture taken before going to the Westwood Village post office!
When I called a couple of weeks ago to make a passport appointment for yesterday I specifically asked if the camera was working (becuase I had read this post) and was told it was. My appt was a 2pm yesterday so I called in the morning and asked if the camera was working and was told it was. When I got there for the appt there was a sign saying that they can’t take pictures as the camera is broken.
They told me that it had been broken for some time and to go to RiteAid for a picture and come back.
Once I had the picture it was smooth sailing but why lie to me over the phone?
