Shoot, I sold my Intruder a few years ago and regretted it ever since. The nice sunny days have me longing for another one though so you might just see me toodling around one of these days. Let me know if you do get a group together. I used to ride with a group of women in 1998. Was fun to head out on Sunday mornings with 10-15 women on motorcycles. *sigh*

That’s what I’m sort of hoping for, Maude.Ladies who like to ride, and occasionally want to grab a beer or glass of vino around Seattle and chat bikes and the Pacific Northwest.

My fella is half of a vintage repair/build shop up in Lake City and I’ve been throwing a few ideas at him about putting on a few “classes” for the ladies, stuff such as minor repairs and recognizing problems.

<3 Intruders, they seem to be super reliable =)

I have a scooter… it’s technically a motorcycle, and I have to have a motorcycle endorsement on my license, but that’s not usually what people mean when they refer to motorcycles in general. :-)

I have a vintage Yamaha and a modern bike. I haven’t been riding too much this year so far due to other obligations, but if you leave your email address, I’d drop a line and see if it would work out. Mostly guys, yes. But I find many of them very respectful.

Well then let’s get together and talk bikes! I liked my Intruder though it was a cold blooded thing and a bit too powerful for my own good. Wouldn’t mind going back to and old Virago 500cc just for around town. Or maybe a Rebel 250. Have you seen the Johnny Peg’s?

Al I’m at hannibs@eou.edu if you want to drop a line.

It is nice that the guys are supportive, I haven’t run into any who want to be jerks about the bikes.

My guy has a neat old Honda which he frankensteined the motor out of so it’s a 650 in a 550 frame.

The Johnny Pag bikes are pretty cool customs, choppers aren’t too much my thing, but I know how much time it takes to get something amazing put together.

Anyone ever go to bike night at Smarty Pants in Georgetown?
