Old Bohemian?

Does anyone know what’s going on with what used to be The Bohemian restaurant?

After it closed, I read here that the owners of another place I’d eaten at twice (and loved) had bought it. I was terribly excited but that was… what… A year ago, and nothing since? After all that nothing I walked by maybe five months ago and some guys were painting and doing some interior staining, and I became excited again that it might open at long last… but still nothing!

Anyone have any news? I still miss Blackbird Bistro terribly and I was hoping this place might fill the void.

Nothing since they finally responded to our ENDLESS inquiries and messages by sending us snail mail last September:

Plan for ex-Bohemian finally revealed: ‘Simple neighborhood dinnerhouse’

The liquor license was granted recently. They have been making some incremental moves – ironwork with the address and a cutlery door handle went up out front a month or so ago – but no word on the opening. I expect one day they will just simply be … open.
