At Holiday Retirement, we have the opportunity for you to do just that as you serve meals to our residents in a courteous and friendly manner.
As a server and key member of our food service team, you will greet residents and guests in our dining room and provide meal service with a smile and an upbeat attitude. You will bus and clear dishes from tables and reset tables for the next meal. You will also clean the dining area and perform other duties as needed.
To provide these important services to our residents, we seek fast learners with take action attitude, compassion for others, approachable personality, unyielding integrity, do-what-it-takes and customer focus.
In addition, candidates will possess:
Previous serving experience preferred
Composure under pressure
Strong multi-tasking skills
Effective English communication skills
Knowledge of safe and sanitary food handling practices
Basic computer abilities
Shifts are nights and weekends. We serve three meals a day in our dining room. Mon-Fri availability needed 5:20pm-7:30pm Weekend Breakfast Shift: 7:50am-9:15am, Lunch Shift: 12:20pm-2:15pm and Dinner Shifts: 5:20pm-7:30pm
