I think the person who’d been feeding the cat outside at Daystar may be willing to adopt him and pay his vet bills – if it isn’t too late. If she can’t, a few more details about the cat have come to light.
Pam reports that he is a senior cat with cataracts, and must be indoors for the remainder of his life. He’s also a polydactyl, or Hemingway’s cat (extra toes). I’m now hearing that he was not feral, but a loving, sweet-tempered cat that had been abandoned. He’s quite beautiful as well. If the person talking about adopting him is unable to do so, I’m putting out one last plea for an adoptive parent to step forward – before it’s too late.
I’d do it myself if it weren’t for the fact that I already have my quota of rescues, one of them a mean Siamese that won’t tolerate other cats…maybe I should trade him in. KIDDING.
