    From W Seattle, to Downtown (olive & 5th Ave & to avoid tunnel), would you recommend taking the 4th Ave exit from the bridge or 99 exit before the tunnel?

    A lot fewer traffic light’s taking 99 so that would be the fastest way. Caveat, don’t know traffic pattern at morning rush hour so don’t know how full 1st or 4th ave can be.

    It depends on what time of day/ day of the week. Generally I’d take 4th Ave exit and go north on 4th to Olive. Or the other way. Either way works depending on traffic issues, just check the blog traffic cameras before you leave.
