My (good) contractor experience

Everybody wants a referral to a good contractor. So here’s my story.

Ventana built my new garage and I think they did a really good job. I was probably a little frustrating to work with for them because I don’t think I was quit as organized as I thought I was going in, but they helped me get to a better place. I only regret not taking a couple of Clarances’ suggestions. They set a schedule and kept us updated on it.

One of the best aspects of the project was the feedback from the neighbors. They got updates about when the work would begin, when the alley would be blocked, etc. And of course everyone was pretty thrilled with seeing our old eyesore garage finally being bulldozed.

I’m sure I could have gotten someone to do it for less, but thats what we did with the kitchen and we REALLY regretted that. Lesson learned with the kitchen: choose contractors on reputation, not expense.

Anyways… We are talking about a complicated bathroom remodel and we will probably take it to Ventana first when we decide to finally get moving.
