I call metro lost & found but they don’t have them :(
ROUTE:
I got off the C line on foutleroy & California Ave. Crossed the street to the AT&T side and walked on Cali. Up the hill towards Frontenac St. Turn left on Frontenac up towards 39th Ave, small right on 39th the left on Myrtle St all the way right behind the water towers on 35Th & Myrtle.
please let me know if anyone fond them, I would much appreciate it!
Please shoot me with any questions
Thank You!

CalaveRosaParticipantWhen I said “rare prescription” is because I’m legally blind and the lenses just the lenses are super expensive wich is why I really hope to find them :(

happy hourParticipantBump. I certainly understand. I spend a fortune on nice frames and quality lenses It’s extremely expensive to loose these legally blind or not.
I hope someone finds them. I now print a tiny label that will affix to the inside (of ear frame- I forget the name right now) and add a tiny piece of tape to protect . I type my email address i

happy hourParticipantAwe darn. CalaveRosa. I know your pain!!!!! Sorry to hear about this. GPS sounds great :) we them on keys and phones too. All my best to you. Perhaps the place where you had them done might allow you to purchase wholesale… Wouldn’t that be nice. That’s what I would do for a client. Eye glass fairy.. Plz help CalaveRosa!!!

oceanParticipantCalaveRosa-
We have a family member who, while not legally blind, does have a fairly hefty prescription (-11.75 and -12). We used to get our glasses at the optical store in Westwood Village, but they screwed up one prescription 3 times and another pair of frames (bought from them, no less) they said “couldn’t be fit correctly” after trying 4 different times, and I couldn’t stand it any more. So Costco is where we now go, and they have been wonderful! (They even managed to fit those “unfittable” frames in just minutes!) I really like the return policy, too– how can you pick frames when you can’t see them on you? But it’s been 11 pairs of glasses in the last 4 years, and at only about $160 a pair (and you can do it for less if you are using your “old” frames!), it is hard to beat, even with our -11.75 and -12.
If you know the code numbers from the frame you liked, you can try to order another frame online, then go for Costco lenses. If you aren’t a member, I’m happy to take you there with my membership.
Good luck!
