JoBParticipantYou can still find that mail in ballot that you buried in your recycling.. or in the pile that sits waiting for you to get around to it… and exercise your right as a citizen by voting.
Your task is to hire the next elections director…
yes.. this is a hiring decision… not a political decision… because this is a non-partisan election process for a government job that requires election process knowledge.
I believe that Sherril Huff is the only candidate qualified to do this job… as evidenced by the understanding of the job displayed on her application and by the fact that she had actually held the job through the recent improvements in our election system.
but don’t take my word for it. Check it out yourself and cast your vote.
you can mail your vote in today or take it to any of the ballot collection sites…
i confess i will be visiting one today for our two household votes:)
If you want your government to be accountable to you, you need to be accountable to it by exercising your right to vote.
find that ballot and get it in today!

If i do say so myself :) … our forum has done a pretty good job of covering all sides of this election with some really great assistance by WSB posting a link to the actual applications sent in by the candidates…
if nothing any of us says speaks to you.. read the candidates own assessments of the job and why they think they are qualified…
those job apps sure come in handy when you are hiring:)

c@lbobMember448,000 voted yes to elect a director, about 190,000 have voted, so far. I don’t expect that the rest of those in favor of voting for the position will turnout today. We should know who won by 9:00 tonight.

JoBParticipantmaybe not..
