If you have experience in retail sales, love winter/summer sports, the Puget Sound, the Cascades, and engaging with customers on a regular basis, this is the position for you!
At Mountain to Outfitters, inventory and receiving clerks are essential to the success of our shop. We count on them to create POs and accept shipments, as well as inform the team of any discrepancies or errors. We are searching for a qualified receiving clerk to help maintain our company inventory and operations. The receiving clerk will take responsibility for tracking incoming and outgoing items, reducing errors, and ensuring the quality of our inventory. Mountain to Sound is committed to serving our customers in the best way possible, and this starts with keeping our own inventory accurately reported and organized.
Objectives of this role:
-Maintain inventory records
-Ensure quality and accuracy of shipments
-Reduce the occurrence of errors and lost items in shipments
-Oversee the successful delivery of online ordersResponsibilities
-Check in product as it is received
-Create Purchase Orders when product is ordered
-Tag and maintain accuracy and organization of backstock and inventory
-Conduct after season store wide inventories
-Inventory by department as needed
-Communicate with vendors in regards to product and ordering
-Prepare outbound shipments for delivery
-Assist GM and leads with office related projects/organization
-Assist with AP
-Light Graphic Design/Marketing assistance
-Assist management team with the buysSkills and qualifications
-Strong organizational skills
-Keen attention to detail
-Willingness to learn new procedures and equipment
-Ability to thrive in a team
-Problem-solving skills
-Basic math skills
-Love for the outdoors – water and snow sports a likePreferred qualifications
-Experience with inventory management software
-Strong interpersonal communication skills
-Graphic Design (Basic) experience a plus
