Both of my daughters attended the YMCA camp at Lincoln Park for several years and loved it. The counselors are very good with the kids and can play around and still maintain their authority. Several of my friends have sent their children to the Y camp and also recommend it. Compared to other programs my children were in the Y wins hands down.
there is also a campfire girls camp in lincoln park. I am actually in the middle of doing the same thing, i was looking at the camps at the science center! they look pretty cool and not as pricey as i thought it would be.
