FYI – Tony’s Market closing at 6PM on Sundays

I almost got stung by this since I specifically headed to Tony’s to get cut watermelon.

The sign advertises open to 8PM 7 days a week Feb thru Oct. but the girl behind the counter said “they always” (?) close at 6PM on Sunday.

Can anyone confirm this is a sure thing and they haven’t changed their sign? Tony wasn’t there to ask…

I’ve never tested this, but I too have been told that Tony’s closes at 6:00 on Sundays. They close early on holidays too, like Memorial Day, Independance Day and Labor Day. Glad you made it in time for the watermelon. I have been enjoying (daily) the cantelope.
