PHOTOS: Second annual West Seattle Saunter, peninsula walkabout

10:40 AM: Thanks for the photo! In case you missed the earlier mentions, and are surprised to see a large group of people walking together around West Seattle in the next few hours, it’s the second annual West Seattle Saunter, a 12-mile walk around the peninsula. All free, just for fun. More pics later!

2:20 PM: WSB contributing photojournalist Dave Gershgorn was one of those out sauntering this morning and sent photos – below, at the head of the line in the vest, is Holden, founder of the walk plus the original citywide Saunter:

We overheard a few saunterers talking to others here at the Info Booth – sounds like it was a perfect day for a mega-stroll.

    I’d say there were at least a couple hundred folks for the saunter today.
