WSBKeymasterPlease keep me on the list – also I’m going to link this thread to the upper-right permablurb (forthcoming in a few minutes) that appears on all site pages so please let me know if you decide to start a new thread – I check in here as often as feasible but if we’re afk hours may go by.

charlabobParticipantWe have some art (paintings) we’d be glad to donate — not done by us; originals — modern — eccentric — expensive (well, for us) — someone needs to look and see if anyone might want it.
Reason for donating? WE HAVE TOO DAMNED MUCH STUFF! And, of course, we believe in the cause. If we have enough of these benefits, I might be eventually be able to walk through my library and get to my desk.

But look,s like thats already happening apparently the community is pulling together. AnonymousInactiveRE: meeting tomorrow. I lost track of what thread to respond to aim and JoB on. I (we) want to show up but we have that puppy problem. We can’t leave her home alone b/c one of the cats beats her up. None of the doors in our crooked little house close tight to separate them. And then, I don’t know if she’d be allowed at uptown or if anyone coming is bothered/allergic to a dog. She’s only about 6# and scared of everyone so would hide in a coat, but still, that’s where we’re at.

AnonymousInactiveJT – I just called Uptown and he said that they do not allow dogs. If there is any way you can come, though, we would all love to meet you! Hopefully there is a solution and we will see you there!

AnonymousInactiveJT – I can relate 100%! Before the “Handbags for Hunger” benefit, I was terrified! I told my boyfriend that if he didn’t accompany me, I would disown him!
Just know this: You voice on this forum is one of reason and great insight. I know that we have had heated debates, but I always respect what you have to say. I assure you, if you come, you will be very warmly receipted!
