GoGoParticipantI heard them too in Arbor Heights, looked out the front door but couldn’t see/hear anything.

rockergirl5678ParticipantI am not sure but I think they had fireworks at the stadium after HAWKS WIN! If not then someone was celebrating the win locally.

WSBKeymasterSorry, too many big stories were going on to fit this in on the home page but it was discussed on the WSB Facebook page, and I replied to some folks who texted us (206-293-6302, questions, tips, any time). There were fireworks at halftime and game’s end in Gatewood and apparently elsewhere (Westwood was mentioned) every time there was a touchdown. Why now, as opposed to other Hawks games? Weather? Or? Not sure, but police verified it was fireworks, after getting many “OMG, were those gunshots?” type calls … Tracy

melissaParticipantThey were right down the street from us and we’re just west of Fauntleroy Park (the pocket park on 97th). Scared the bejeezus out of the dog, woke both of my children, and just pissed me off. I am sick and was half asleep. Whoever you are, glad your team won, but could you maybe not make the rest of us suffer for your pleasure?
