As exciting – and even unnerving – as some of this is, and as great as technology is (hello, West Seattle Blog!), let us remember that Da Vinci, Einstein, Shakespeare, et al did quite well without MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, iPhones, etc. We may be advancing in technology by amazing leaps and bounds, but I can’t say the same for progression in humanism, common sense, compassion, enlightenment, etc.
