asjam79MemberA chiropractic clinic in the heart of West Seattle is interviewing for a chiropractic administrative assistant. This position requires a candidate who thoroughly enjoys working with the public and who will bring strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills to the position. Attention to detail is important. We are a small, but busy office with need for additional administrative, reception, and doctor support.
Typical responsibilities may include support to the doctor during examinations and taking of health histories, answering phones and scheduling patients, greeting and rooming patients, reviewing patient files for compliance and accuracy, reading chart notes and charges for accuracy, entering charges and payments, obtaining health insurance benefits and eligibility, scanning/entering patient files into an electronic system, and some correspondence and reports. This is a very computer oriented position, so applicants should have strong computer skills. We are looking for an applicant who can work Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:00-7:00pm with flexibility to work later if needed. This is a part-time position, but for the right person we can make it a full-time position.
Our goal is to cross train staff members over time, which brings variety to the position, support to coworkers, and the opportunity for growth. We are seeking someone with the desire to learn and advance their skill set in the health field.
Please email your resume to westseachiro@hotmail.com with a cover letter that highlights your qualifications, applicable skills, and your specific interest in our offered position. We will call those applicants whose education, employment history, and interest provide a good fit. For that someone who brings the right skill set, we are willing to train in the specifics.
