biankatParticipantDoes anyone know if there’s a retailer in Seattle that sells the sport peppers and neon green relish needed for Chicago style dogs? Thanks!

cclarueMemberThere is a Chicago dog vendor in georgetown who served me a dog without the neon green relish, when I asked him for it he said he was out and that he has to order it
from out of state and it’s more expensive than regular relish.! I told him I for one would pay extra for it because I want the whole experience. I don’t know if he’s still there but I was dissapointed about the relish.

biankatParticipantThat’s the prob. I’d prefer to not order it out of state. The shipping is ridiculous! But will if I have to….

KBearParticipantI presume you’ve already tried Husky Deli.

mpentoParticipantJust to mention Harry and David have some nice tasty relish options but I don’t think I’ve seen the sport peppers /neon green relish you describe
Saw this yesterday just had to use it :)

beachdrivegirlParticipantI don’t think so. I have a friend from Chicago and they have friends from the area ship them the ingredients once a year for a party. because they haven’t found the ingredients anywhere. So, if you find them tell me because they sure are yummy!!

biankatParticipantWill do beachdrivegirl :)

sunshineParticipantIf you locate a supplier, ask Jack from the Husky Deli if he will stock it for you,. This sometimes works!

hollyplaceParticipantCheck with QFC. Ralphs carries it online, owned by Kroger qFC is part of Kroger too. They might order it in for you. It is made by puckered pickle company.

biankatParticipantGreat, hollyplace. I’ll do that. Puckered Pickle was the brand I was hoping to locate.

FullTiltParticipantI know Shorty’s in Belltown uses a lot of it. They too have to have it shipped in. Maybe ask them if they would order a bit more for you?

tom kelleyParticipantBeing a transplanted Chicagoan I had to go to Taste of Chicago as soon as I read about it here! A Polish just like I used to get in my old neighborhood! I specifically asked about the, “neon green relish”, and the kid behind the counter said,”Yep, we have it.”
