yeah-meParticipantI have always taken my dogs to Pawsability in Tukwila – but just found out that they have closed as of Dec 21. I loved the big open facility and style of training. Does anyone have a suggestion for a great training place for starting out a new puppy?

MargLMemberLooks like starting in January there’s going to be a place right here in West Seattle!
If you help test the website maybe you could get a credit for a class :-)

hammerheadParticipantPuppy Perfectors is in white center and have taken several of my own dogs and some rescues to her. She is great.

addParticipantWe also had a good experience with Puppy Perfectors – she was in SoDo then but the new space in White Center looks great!

service dog academyMemberThank you wundrgrrl! Hows your pup doing?
yeah-me – The Service Dog Academy doesnt just train service dogs, we train pet dogs too. Our pet dog program supplements the low cost service dog program for our disabled clients. Its kind of like training your puppy and giving back to the community at the same time. Plus, theres nothing like using service dog techniques in training your dog for the best trained pup around! With 23 5-star google reviews and a brand new training facility, you cant go wrong! Of course, I have to admit, Im a little biased :)
PS – We will be having a free puppy play session coming up in a couple of weeks that you can attend! Check back on the website or the WSB Forum for the exact date and time.

DawgloverMemberYou and Mary missed a wonderful opportunity with Nancy at Puppy Perfectors. Nancy has provided training for both of our Labs, the pup is doing agility training attending doggy daycare. She loves going there!

BlendParticipantwe have a 1 year old female beagle who is I think the 13″ kind. Would she qualify for the puppy play session that you have coming up? I would love to get her in some classes too. She loves to be a good doggie but has a hard time sometimes.
