nighthawkParticipantI recently discovered Lee’s and liked it quite a bit. I got the Honey Walnut Shrimp, yum, yum, yum.
My favorite Chinese is Shanghai Garden down in International District. Not going to work if you are looking for delivery but worth the trip if you have time for dining in (and it’s really not that far).

KenParticipantRecently tried out this place. Pretty good Chinese dishes and I will be working my way through the rest of the menu. Note they deliver after 5 pm and you can order online :)

Next part of the menu to try… Sushi delivered…

squareeyesParticipantI tried the mongolian beef at Yummy Teriyaki recently. While it was tasty, it wasn’t remotely what I expect for mongolian beef. I do really like Yummy so will stick with their spicy chicken & gyozo, etc.

HMC RichParticipantI wanted Dim Sum. I took the West Seattle monorail downtown. Went to Chinatown and enjoyed a feast at the Harbor City Restaurant, on 7th and Canton. After a fabulous meal I walked down to the waterfront, rode the trolley to a few places, caught a show at the pier. Finally I jumped onto the Water Taxi and caught a bus home.
Oh sorry, it was a dream.
But there are plenty of places in Chinatown. Ho Win’s atmosphere was AWFUL. I go to Lee’s and Yummy Teriyaki.

sun*eParticipant@Nighthawk – Yes, Shanghai Garden is my husband’s favorite place to get Kung Pao Chicken for lunch but unfortunately they’re not in WS.
@Ken – Thanks for the link to Yummy Teriyaki. Their menu looks pretty good. Not quite the combos of Chinese food that we’re looking for but it’s nice that they deliver so we’ll definitely give them a try.
@HMC Rich – Love the dream…if only, huh? Yeah, we never actually ate at Ho-Wins; just had our favorite letter “A” delivered. Lee’s has good food and the atmosphere is better than Ho-Win’s for sure but we still don’t really care for it so we wish they delivered. Guess we’ll just have to get it to go and pick it up ourselves. :-(
Thanks everyone for all the help on our quest. :-)
