AlkiRagdollParticipantThought I would ask other Blackberry users to identify their favorite applications. This weekend I just found Viigo and TwitterBerry and they are now both my favorite. Viigo is an RSS downloader, while TwitterBerry lets you use your email for Twitter instead of SMSs. Both are free applications. Also if you have not upgraded to OS 4.5, it takes a while, but it is really improved over 4.3. Anyone want to suggest others, as I would love to learn more.

TheHouseMemberA very cool, FREE app I just discovered last week is Vlingo. Vlingo is a voice recognition program that converts voice to text message, e-mail or even update your Facebook status.
Weathereye is the weather app I use, but there are several to chose from out there.

addParticipantI’m a new BB user, just got a Storm for Christmas and still working on figuring it all out. Do these apps mentioned work on any of the BB models?

AlkiRagdollParticipantThanks to those willing to share info. The applications I mentioned are free and i think are available to all BB users, regardless of model. I am constantly learning this BB technology, and appreciate all help. Will try Vlingo, but House now do U use your Vlingo?

TheHouseMemberI set mine up so that I can press & hold the left button and say “E-mail West Seattle Blog. Subject Blackberry Applications. Message Try out these apps”. When I let go of the button it thinks for a second and then scribes everything on the screen. No need to type anything.
You can also say “Google West Seattle Restaurants” and it will do it.
You can also say “Facebook status want to search West Seattle Blog” and it will change my FB status (you have to install FB on your BB).
It has dozens of other uses, but the main point is that you can eliminate typing lots of things.
