cmon. it’s Scientific American… which i suppose could make this a leftist publication since it sticks to scientific discourse :->
but it does offer some interesting perspective.

kootchmanMemberwell your daddy was not a gun enthusiast… for those of us who shoot or have shot for competition events… you shoot a lot. Your daddy wasn’t shooting with an open sight at 1000 yards… if he did he wasn’t hitting a thing if he didn’t practice and practice often. . Redblack I said…. we should hold a million musket march… not we should march on WA to protest a lawful election…. to remind congress we have the right to bear arms. how many of us there are.. and I believe I also stated with open bolts to clearly indicate there were no chambered rounds.

redblackParticipantbelieve me, bro, no one has forgotten that you have the right to bear arms. you beat us about the head with it on an almost-daily basis.
and i didn’t say you said that. i said some hillbilly from georgia said that.

JoBParticipantkootch
you seem to forget that i was once a crack shot myself
so i gotta ask you… how many rounds do you think it takes with an automatic weapon to shred a target?
unless you just plain miss.. not many.
your argument doesn’t hold water when it comes to automatic weapons and you know it.
how many will have to die at the hands of disgruntled gunmen before you admit it?
they are on a roll this summer.
