Traveling to London anytime soon? I had a trip planned last summer that was cancelled at the last minute. I had pre-purchased two Oyster Cards, loaded with 40 pounds worth of bus/train/underground fare on them. Sadly, I never got to use them, but would really like for someone to be able to!
If you buy them on the Oyster Card website, they’re $68.50 each, which includes the activation fee. I’m asking for face value of 40 pounds – that turns out to be about $120. So you’d be saving almost $20!
I’ve got an ad on craigslist, but haven’t gotten any bites yet. I’d love to sell them to someone from West Seattle if there is anyone out there who’s interested.
