I’m feeling the need for a winter project, and thought it might be fun to mess around with an old computer from when I was young. I’m thinking something like a Commodore, Apple II, ZX Spectrum, early IBM-PC or clones of anything else of that general era. Though I’m most interested in that period, I might take anything pre Windows 3.1 era so don’t hesitate to respond. Working or not, though I’ll be looking to pay less if it’s not working of course. Not looking for something valuable or collectible for it’s own sake just something mass market from that time period, and that feels like something that might have spent the last 30 years in an attic right here in West Seattle.

    Hey, Jeff-

I don’t have any computers but I have some old software and manuals.

Acma computer user kit (mostly manuals)
Windows NT Workstation (manuals and 3.5 floppies, looks to be complete but I’m no expert)
Windows for workgroups and MS-DOS user’s guide (still in plastic and certificate of authenticity attached)
A bunch of HP laser writer disks (3.5 floppies and CDs)
Waterford early reading program (3.5 floppy and CD)
A handful of 3.5 floppies for a Logitech mouse, Toshiba and 3com peripherals, and digital research technologies windows 3.1/DOS install disk
One Maxell LS-120 dos formatted laser servo technology disc

They were left behind by a renter and I haven’t gotten around to recycling them yet, and no idea if the floppies are what they say they are. If you are interested in any or all for the low low price of free, let me know. davebrewer (at) outlook dotcom.
