amber.correa-salazar@seattlecolleges.eduThe clinic:
Use your solid clinical skills to join a whole different experience in healthcare! Trivas Family Medicine is a Direct Primary Care practice, which is an innovative membership model as opposed to traditional insurance based clinics. This practice, and this clinical role, is centered on truly providing the excellent service that only a small panel, low volume clinic can offer.
Trivas is a solo family medicine practice- just one doctor to keep track of. Work with me as a team member to get patient’s needs met in a myriad of ways. Much of the work we do for people is when they are not in the clinic.
You will be the ultimate troubleshooter- helping patients when barriers get in the way of achieving their health goals. That may involve communicating with patients, pharmacies, specialists, medical records departments and (occasionally) insurance companies. It may also mean teaching patients how to use their insurance wisely or how our clinic is different.
Of course we see some patients in clinic as well, and they need to be checked in, occasionally have blood drawn or have procedures, and the office sanitized afterwards. We need a Medical Assistant to cover a leave of absence for the next 2-3 weeks, up to 30 hours a week. After that there will be a mix of part time and PRN, depending on what works for all of us.
Salary $25-35/hour, depending on experience levelFoster a service dog in professional training!

Topic: Man killed in WS in 2020
I was surprised to see this story in Seattle Times earlier this month. I had never heard about this event, and I didn’t see any reporting on WSB from the time frame (maybe I missed it?)
A man being killed by residents in much the same way as George Floyd died in the winter after the protests seems newsworthy to me, but I can’t find any other coverage besides the ST article. Seems like it would be as much of a topic as the latest gunfire, car accident, package theft etc.
Is this something everyone knows about? Can anyone point me to other coverage?
