thank you Donald Trump for making the issues really clear here..

I am also claiming bleeding heart liberal for my own.
Yes, i do care about other people. I think our GDP should ensure that the majority of American’s live above the poverty level… and that all of our kids get the kind of education that will allow them to succeed… and that a medical crisis shouldn’t bankrupt working people… and that housing speculation shouldn’t drive working people out of their homes … and that we really should not only respect our elders but treasure them for what they can contribute… and that your color or race or sex or gender identity should not determine your opportunities… and that personal responsibility is a term you apply to yourself, not to others and …

Yup.. that’s me.. One nasty bleeding heart liberal woman and proud of it.

And with any luck i have the kind of company that will move this country back towards public polices that benefit us all…

Today.. is a good day to start.

Capt. Dave…I don’t really give a damn where you live , but you complain enough about every damned thing about this city and this state, I figure there must be one good thing you like about it that makes you stay. You share a lot of your “business” with us, by the way…so don’t get huffy, please. It was an honest , serious question. Nunya will have to suffice, I suppose.

I did not tell you to leave….I honestly wondered that if you hate it so much here, and obviously dislike a lot of the people since it’s so “liberal”, there had to be a “why” you stay. Just making conversation…but I will say again…I never ever said for you to leave. Please do not read things that aren’t there.

Regarding another post that you made…do you actually know of instances where there were votes by dead people? Or are you ASSuming that happens because someone somewhere said it?
Also…we don’t go to the polls here…how in the world does one show ID while voting on a mail in ballot? When I registered to vote I showed ID…that’s got to be enough, thank you very much. Maybe I’m naive, maybe just honest. It would never ever occur to me to somehow vote for someone else, unless it was perhaps helping an elderly person, or an arthritic person actually vote themselves. And I don’t think I know anyone who would, either. However…it was just discovered that ballots that had been lawfully voted on by people in North Carolina had their ballots taken by the GOP in that state, and they were holding them.Came to light after a firebombing there. As someone else said…that’s election fraud…and it wasn’t those damned “libtards” doing it, either !

“dobro: The rate of fraudulent bank withdrawals is infinitesimal in comparison to the number of bank transactions every day. Should banks stop requiring id for withdrawals?”

This kind of crap is exactly what makes it difficult to have reasonable conversations. The conversation we were having had to do with voter fraud. I provided factual evidence that voter fraud is infinitesimal compared to the hundreds…once again…HUNDREDS of millions of votes cast. Does the Cap’n have a believable source to refute such facts?

Apparently not, since we go directly to a non-sequitur that has nothing to do with the discussion. Or was that some kind of attempt at humor that I missed because we’re on the internet?

what makes you assume this is a hottie problem?
    I am
    67 years old
    grey
    5’6″ 167lbs
still recovering from my second major abdominal surgery in 6 months so i walk like a penguin and my stomach would make St Nick proud.
I can’t wear pants so right now to stay warm my skirts are to the ground and I can’t wear heels so those are grandma shoes poking out from under that skirt
I can’t wear make-up or hair product so my look is about as natural and weathered as it gets

my hubby still thinks i am a hottie but i am guessing i would have a difficult time finding 10 guys who agreed with him.. unless of course you count friends who think i am a hottie no matter how i look.

Harassment is not a hottie problem.. it’s a female problem.
As long as you have the right equipment.. apparently in any configuration… even the virtual unknown… you are a target.

Right Wing Conspiracy. The most comprehensive, explicit blueprint of a coordinated plan for conservatives to achieve dominance over American business, media and politics is the Powell Memorandum, penned by Justice William F. Powell in 1971. Powell Memo It prompted ruling class elites to fund conservative think tanks and targeted projects similar to the various Schaiffe Foundations funded by Richard Mellon Scaife, heir to an industrial and banking fortune and publisher of the Pittsburg Tribune-Review. He funded many other conservative projects such as the neoconservative Project For A New American Century, speared-headed by Bill Kristol
Schaife funded the Arkansas Project which targeted the Clintons and provided funding to encourage Paula Jones to come forward with her claims against Bill Clinton.

David Brock, a conservative writer involved in the Arkansas Project, later wrote

      Blinded By The Right

which describes the coordinated effort to smear the Clintons.

A direct result of the Powell Memorandum was the funding of conservative think tanks which were formed to disseminate a stream of conservative ideology to the media and business community. Those include oragnizations such as the Heritage Foundation and the American Enterprise Institute.

Of course, we’re all aware of the documented plans on the part of Roger Ailes to create a television outline operated in the interest of the Republican Party, an intention which ultimately led to Fox News.

There’s much more, but I think you get the drift.

For a complete make over of your home, start with your color scheme. Try creating strong verticals by keeping your furniture low slung, add large mirrors to make the room look taller and spacious. Metallic finish add a great sparkle, mix gold and silver, they look awesome.

And who, exactly, thinks dead people should be allowed to vote? No…let me guess…uh…liberals, right?

“The drugs, sex, murder, corruption and government abuse surrounding the Clintons go back a long ways. I am pretty confident that all you lefties will completely denounce anything negative about the Clintons as “conspiracy”.”

Well, this crude piece of completely debunked propaganda film you cite certainly proves nothing except that you believe crap that supports your point of view. And, no, i’m not going to bother to link to all the debunking. Use your google and do your own work.

“The sick thing about Hillary is that she stood by Bill’s side through decades of these nefarious acts.”

Nefarious acts which have never been charged, proven, or convicted except in the dreams of the vast right wing conspiracy.

“She had to have known, and in many cases, was intimately involved…”

A little mind reading now with a side of unproven assertion…surely you can do better than that.

“But if only 5% of it is true, the Clintons should not be anywhere near the white house.”

What if none of it is true? you certainly haven’t offered anything to corroborate it other than warmed over right wing propaganda.

Telling people that they should leave because they don’t agree with your politics is about as un-American as it gets. Where on earth can you find a free democracy that has lasted under such “mob-rule”?

Sorry, I think I was misunderstood, I wasn’t replying to JoB’s comment at all. I was replying in response to williamf64’s comment “You ran into crazy, that’s it.” I meant that it proved cbof’s point, that she would be told that her experience was not a big deal. What I meant was, someone says “that’s it”, but it’s not it. There have been multiple experiences before this one and there will be multiple experiences afterward. As women, we don’t run into “crazy” just once, or even once in a while.

I agree completely with JoB’s comment, and I’m truly disgusted and saddened by everything she has gone through. We must speak up, we must make waves.
