    My thoughts.

It sounds like the people actually, directly affected by this have no problems with the arrangement. Why do you? It’s not your yard. It’s not your business. Leave them alone. Don’t you have better things to worry about?

Aren’t there eminent domain laws? If they’ve had the property for a number of years isn’t it now theirs? But to Graciano’s point if they really don’t want-or can’t get the property back they should DEFINATELY contact the assessor’s office to have their property/taxes reassessed and point out the neighbor with more property to have their property/taxes reassessed.

It sounds like the one neighbor had taken advantage of the elderly neighbors kindness and is now taking advantage of the younger neighbors naiveness and they should be ashamed of themselves! UNLESS of course they want to pay their portion of the property tax for the property they took over??? but i think its a NO.

Thanks for sharing the information about FEMA funds; it can be a real financial relief for those dealing with such situations. I appreciate the heads-up, even if it involves phone calls and paperwork; sometimes, navigating through the bureaucratic process is worth it when you’re in need.
I’ve also had to deal with a recent death in my family, and it’s been an incredibly trying experience. While searching for funeral ideas to honor my loved one, I stumbled upon some eco-friendly burial options. It’s fascinating to see how these options are gaining popularity, emphasizing sustainability and minimizing our environmental impact even in the most solemn moments of life. One website that caught my attention is https://greenfarewells.com/. They offer various eco-conscious funeral choices, and it’s comforting to know that there are alternatives that align with our values of environmental responsibility.

This truck is filled with a local restaurants waste and it WILL ATRACT RATS!
I do hope the company doing this is not just tossing their waste down any old hill.
This truck was parked on our street until one of the neighbors talked to the restaurant manager.
The restaurant also has 2 other vehicle used for this. One is and older mini van the other a little white pick up.
I called find it fix it with a reply time of over 2 weeks
You will know it by the stench emanating from it.
Leave me a message to find out which restaurant it is.
I/we , the local neighbors , just found out yesterday where this garbage originates from.
I have called the restaurant chains CFO and am awaiting a reply

    Thank you for reading this.

I don’t understand why drivers ignore the legalities of parking at the inconvenience/safety risk of other drivers and pedestrians.
The other day, in mid-Junction, this guy was double parked with car blinkers on. (FYI: there were a couple available parking spaces just ahead of him on California). He was on the inside lane causing a complete blockage of the lane, requiring drivers to move around him into the already busy outside lane. Many drivers who finally made it around threw him gestures, rolled down their window and said something to him. He just smiled, shook his head and waved them off.
I don’t know how long he had been double parked when I came upon him. However, I sat in the line of blocked cars and angry/frustrated drivers for about ten minutes. Finally, I saw him pick up a passenger from the nearby store and meander away in his car.
    So selfish.

Looks like one house key and one old school metal car key. They are on a plain silver key ring. Let me know if you think they are yours. I took a photo of the keys and also the scene with the background behind the bench for location identification purposes.

Why can’t you park? I get that the owners of high-end cars just see no parking areas as an expensive parking spot, but what’s the excuse for the rest of you? No parking means no parking. You can’t park halfway on the curb because your car is too big for street parking. Bus stops are not pick up or drop off zones, nor are they a pull over spot for texting. 30 minute load zones are that. They’re not 30 minute+ parking zones to grab lunch, go to yoga, or a doctor’s appointment. You don’t get to block sidewalks because your car can’t fit in the driveway. You don’t get to park in front of fire hydrants. You are not so important that the rules don’t apply to you.

About nine years ago we got quotes from a few companies and ended up getting Milgard windows from Intermountain Glass Inc.; the windows have been great and we really liked working with Intermountain. They weren’t high-pressure sales folks, and they had a great suggestion about extending the opening for one of our living room windows, which was a different size from the other one, so that they would match. They just seemed like nice folks who were interested in a good result.

They get paid enough for what they do. sell tickets and scoop pop corn annd bs with each other. went there today and they hadn’t turned the heat on our theater and then as we left they held signs to reinstate kiley. I made just slightly more than 25.00 an hour at the university and ran a program. Keep our neighborhood theaters open and for a begining job they don’t deserve 25.00 an hour. Get two jobs like the rest of the beginers. If Kiley doesn’t like what she signed up for Trader Joes is hiring and so are a lot of other places. Seems like the ticket takers just don’t want to work. Turn on the heat.

Hello everyone, some good news regarding the dog park, but a section will be covered in engineered wood chips (splinter-free). We don’t have a date yet but it is estimated to be by the end of the year. I will follow up when a date is figured out, otherwise, please feel free to reach out to Ken at ken.wright@seattlecola.org for further questions.

We used Soundview Window and Door and had great results. They installed Andersen replacement windows – same good product without the sales pressure.

We replaced all of our windows in our 69 yo house with Milgard windows ordered thru Home Depot. If you are not the DIY kind of person I’m sure you can have Milgard come and give you an estimate. We got the white vinyl sliders and also asked for the TINT for hotter States, they’re not dark but it keeps the Summer heat from penetrating into your home. Bottom line, we are very happy with them. OH and they came and replaced our one slider (no charge) when the seal broke when we first moved in and we hadn’t even purchased it!

Yes, try other companies for quotes- We were given an initial quote from Renewal of over $50,000, and then told there was a “special” so the price would be “just $30,000” for 10 smallish windows- that’s $3,000 each! And the windows didn’t look that great- very bulky hardware.

Seattle Glass and Window. None of that high-pressure nonsense like the big-name guys with the ubiquitous advertising. Seattle Glass and Window is a relatively small company with fast service, friendly and knowledgeable professionals, and reasonable prices. I am very happy with the results. Of course, you’ll want to get several estimates.
