No.. as far as i know my cancer has not come back..
but i will be moving on into that world called retirement soon and that will mean leaving West Seattle.
before i forgot i wanted to say thank you to the people of this forum for giving me a place to interact with my neighbors.. and to get to know so many.
I know.. we haven’t always gotten along like the community we are.. but discourse is what makes a community healthy.. exposes us to new ideas and leads to the kind of compromises that benefit us all.i shall miss you…
i’m not out the door yet… so those of you who will not miss me can’t breathe that enormous sigh of relief.. yet.. but the sun and mountain air and the border becken…
due to ongoing dental work .. i finally had to have all my teeth removed and am in the process of getting permanent implants…
i have been there more than here lately so have been mostly silent for quite a while… this is a much harder process with my physical quirks than either the dentist or i had anticipated… but there you go.. as a good friend would say.. another adventure :)
anyway.. i wanted you to all know how much this little corner of my world has meant to me before i backed quietly out the door…
thank you for the memories.. even the rowdier moments make me smile

I was in Northwest Art and Frame this morning to buy greeting cards. I was quite offended by the rude merchandise displayed in several places. Placed over some items were signs that said “for adult eyes only.” Is anyone else offended by this?
I did let the cashier know what I thought. She said she woukd pass it on to management.
