Someone here recommended Animal Clinic of Roxbury to us. Most vets would have simply assumed my 10 year old cat, who was losing weight and cranky, had an overactive thyroid. It’s common in cats of that age.

However, Dr DeGuzman took blood, kept an open mind, and after less than 24 hours told us it was the opposite – his thyroid was UNDERactive. He was loving and sweet with my cat, and his whole staff are simply amazing. He’s always available for questions and concerns – truly an “old school” vet. He doesn’t have a ton of fancy equipment, but he knows his stuff. And his prices are very very low. While that shouldn’t matter, sometimes it just does.

He’s just the kind of vet I was looking for – reminds me of the vet we had for our dog when I was a kid.

Oh, and my cat is back to his old sweet self.

HUGE rave for Dr DeGuzman.
