High Point has been using it for a few months now! It’s been really helpful! What was happening was the HOAs could only email blast their respective owners and SHA could only e mail blast their renters and we had no way to communicate as neighbors together. There was a lot of miscommunication happening in some neighborhood facebook groups over the summer with some issues we were having at night in the parks so the High Point Stakeholder groups found Nextdoor.com to be a good way to get everyone involved and talking to each other. There have been posts about events happening at Neighborhood House, missing pets, suspicious activities, selling furniture, confirming power outages, announcing the school boundary changes, etc. I think it’s been a very helpful way to get in touch with the immediate neighbors on my street since not everyone uses facebook/twitter and who ever looks at mass emailings? For me, it’s been an overall positive experience! I like using WSB for overall West Seattle items but things that are specific to my street don’t necessarily belong here.
