I have to say that i am often surprised about my assumptions of gender behind anonymous sign on names. It’s been quite instructive to me… some of those biases we walk around with are pretty hard wired:)
the good news is that even when informed, the gender and/or sexual orientation of posters quickly fades into the background of their ideas…
it turns out that when it comes to our publicly voiced opinions on the wider range of topics ..
gender and sexual orientation.. or homelessness for that matter.. have far less to do with predicting responses than one would think…
but DBP.. to come back to your comment.. within the context of the personna you post here, wouldn’t a scarcity of males in Seattle be something for heterosexual males to celebrate.. not mourn?
