Maybe this is a repeat of an old recommendation, but I recommend Pamela Brummel, (206) 972-3557. Pamela comes to our house about every other week. She and her crew are efficient, responsive to all my odd special requests, and wonderful with our cats. I think her rates are very reasonable. She does a terrific job.
As for cleaning supplies, you should be able to expect any house cleaner to supply them, unless you have some special thing you want used somewhere. (From a tax perspective, I think you always want to hire cleaners who have all their own equipment and supplies; otherwise they may not be considered independent contractors under the tax code. If your cleaner is not an independent contractor, then he or she could be, for tax purposes, an employee, and you could be liable for FICA contributions and the like. There are exceptions to these rules, and I’m not qualified to give advice on any of this, but my understanding is that it’s safer all the way around to use independent contractors with all of their own supplies and equipment.)
