It’s really hard to generalize about neighborhoods in WS (or anywhere, I’d imagine). I’ve been on streets in Genessee Hill and the Lincoln Park area that gave me the creeps and on blocks on Pigeon Point and Highland Park and Westwood (east of 35th AND often east of Delridge) that were amazing, beautiful, full of cute homes and amazing, involved families and neighbors. It really just depends. I always say, go for the HOUSE that you like, then check out the immediate neighborhood (several blocks in either direction), then evaluate. Sticking only to certain neighborhoods in your search limits your options and is actually no guarantee that the micro-neighborhood within the larger “named” neighborhood will have a good vibe.
