From what I’ve observed, several of the posters have indicated that children SHOULD be taken out in public, but that parents should be ready to remove them if necessary.

I, personally, think this is a win-win for everyone… the parents get to dine-out without hiring an expensive sitter, the other patrons get to enjoy their evening out, and the kids get to experience dining out AND boundaries.
