If sbux is too bitter for you, then you would probably prefer Seattle’s Best Coffee. They use a milder, smoother roast. Costco’s coffee is roasted by sbux, btw.

You could also try Peet’s. None of their stores are nearby (unless you work downtown), but QFC carries their coffee.

A general tip: if you like mild, smooth coffee you will probably be most satisfied with Latin American coffees (Columbia, Guatemala, Costa Rica, etc). Those beans cannot handle being roasted as dark as the African or Indonesian beans. Cafe Vita has a nice organic Guatemalan coffee, which I recently picked up at Thriftway.
