The Seattle Public Library announcement:

As a part of National Voter Registration Day, The Seattle Public Library is partnering with King County Elections and the League of Women Voters of Seattle-King County for a nationwide, nonpartisan effort to register thousands of voters on one single day on Tuesday, Sept. 27. The Library will also be celebrating four new ballot boxes this year from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27 at the four Library locations.

The celebrations will feature voter registration opportunities and informational resources related to the election, as well as activities, giveaways and more! Multilingual resources will also be available.

The events will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at:

· Broadview Branch, 12755 Greenwood Ave. N., 206-684-7519.

· High Point Branch, 3411 S.W. Raymond St., 206-684-7454.

· Lake City Branch, 12501 28th Ave. N.E., 206-684-7518.

· NewHolly Branch, 7058 32nd Ave. S., 206-386-1905.

National Voter Registration Day is designed to create an annual moment when the entire nation focuses on registering American citizens to exercise their most basic right — the right to vote. Since the first National Voter Registration Day in 2012, more than 650,000 people have been registered to vote.
