Free movie by local filmmaker – ‘Trickle Down Town’ @ Tibbetts United Methodist Church
Sunday, April 14 @ 11:30 am

This 113 minute movie by local filmmaker Tomasz Biernacki is a thought-provoking documentary about the homeless crisis in Seattle. There is deft interweaving of in-depth stories of community members who are living the crisis on the streets with interviews of political leaders and community advocates, vivid images of the current state of affairs and a poignant examination of the roots of homelessness in the region. Biernacki paints a picture of a city struggling to come to grips with an unprecedented emergency.

You’ll find this production offers an alternative viewpoint to recent broadcasts and through the crisis it finds a few glimmers of hope. It features Camp Second Chance in West Seattle, a community that is successfully stabilizing the lives of its residents so they can work on moving forward.

Tibbetts is located at 3940 41st Ave SW. Light snacks will be available during the movie; we welcome all and encourage you to invite your family and friends!

The filmmaker has made Trickle Down Town available for free to any Puget Sound organization or group that wants to host a private or public screening.
