Join the Southwest Seattle Historical Society for a monthly series features presentations on the history of West Seattle, the Duwamish Peninsula, and the birthplace of Seattle. We call the series “SouthWest Stories.” Coming up at the High Point Library:

2 pm to 3 pm Sunday, Oct. 16th Join Larry Gossett, King County Council member and long-time neighborhood activist who will discuss “High Point and the Homeboys.”

FREE to the public, each presentation takes place on the third Sunday afternoon of the month. The venue rotates among the five Seattle Public Library branches on our peninsula.

Library events and programs are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required.

This series is co-sponsored by The Seattle Public Library and the Southwest Seattle Historical Society. Podcasts of previous parts of this series are available on the Southwest Seattle Historical Society’s website.

Space is limited at library events. Please come early to make sure you get a seat. Due to the fire code, we can’t exceed the maximum capacity for our rooms.
