Thurs, 05/09/24 – Soil & Tree Care Volunteer Event at High Point Commons Park and Pond Park Orchards.

Join City Fruit on Thursday, May 9th from 4-6 pm to help care for the public fruit trees at two newer orchards in the High Point community. The Commons Park trees were planted in spring 2021 and are entering into their fourth growing season. We will be extending the mulch rings around the trees and planting understory companion plants. The Pond Park Orchard trees were planted in fall 2023 and could benefit from an extra layer of mulch and installation of protective tree guards around their trunks.
