South Seattle College’s Northwest Wine Academy (NWWA) will celebrate its 2018 Fall Release on Nov. 16-17, featuring the unveiling of new student-produced wines paired with appetizers created by South’s Culinary Arts students.

The celebration runs from 1 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16 and Saturday, Nov. 17 in the NWWA Tasting Room, located in the north parking lot of South’s West Seattle campus at 6000 16th Ave SW.

New wines in this season’s release include a 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2016 Merlot, 2013 Sangiovese, and more.

Throughout the Fall Release celebration, light appetizers produced by South’s Culinary Arts department will be paired with NWWA wines. The event fee is $5 per person to enjoy wine and food tastings. Friends and families are welcome, and those interested in wine tastings must be 21 years and up.
