Belt it out for the love of books! Do you love to sing karaoke AND love reading? Then this is the event for you!

The library is hosting a special Booktoberfest edition of Libraryoke at the Skylark Café & Club in West Seattle where you are highly encouraged to sing songs inspired by or about books and libraries. Feel free to bring books to swap and share, as there will also be a book exchange. We will have a playlist of suggested songs ready for you to choose from, and you can check out the Baby Ketten song catalog online or via their app for more inspiration. Come ready to sing and talk books at Skylark Café!

This program is a part of Booktoberfest, our annual celebration of books, beer and good cheer taking place in bars and pubs across the Seattle. Join us for bookish happy hours, librarian-hosted trivia nights, spooky stories in bars and libraries, a Northwest literary survival kit, Karaoke, vampire movies and more!

Be on the lookout for our Booktoberfest Drink Coasters at all events, and at bars all across the city. This year’s coasters include a place to share what you’ve been reading with your fellow barmates, and via social media.

This event is 21 and over. Registration is not required. This event is free, although drinks and food are not.
