Hello Alki!

I hope you’re staying safe after the recent weather. While Alki has handled power outages and wind damage better than many areas, we want to discuss an alert system with 911 and police leadership.

We’ll also focus on Alki Community Council growth for 2025 and share details about the Alki Holiday Lights event on Saturday, the 23rd! There will be free goodies to enjoy.

This will be a hybrid meeting, with Vice President Lindsey Pearsall and Board Chair Kevin Kramer onsite, and I’ll join via Zoom. Apologies for the later-than-usual agenda; the Zoom link is above. See you tomorrow night!

New Year’s Polar Plunge Preview: Mark Ufkes
Membership Drive/Donation Match: Goal $2,500. We’ve received a very generous donation with a fundraiser idea to match the donation to our ACC 501(c)3 in a fundraising drive to end of 2024 and launch 2025 strong.
Goal $2,500 by end of year.

9. Election of 2025 Officers and Growth of Board New Roles: We need to shape roles and advertise to give people opportunities to submit names or ideas of chair roles or projects that they would like. The idea proposed is to push elections a few weeks to shape roles.
