FRIDAY NIGHT: What an array of talent will grace the stage at Kenyon Hall this Friday night at 8 P.M. Lyric tenor Jadd Davis returns, with baritone Branden Edwards, and sopranos Sarah Fletcher and Madeline Bersamina, all accompanied by pianist Danny Sullivan, in an eclectic recital showcasing art songs, opera arias and show tunes. The singers are young and full throated, and the repertoire they’ve chosen features favorite selections by opera composers Britten, Bizet, Dvorak, Floyd, Bellini, Verdi, and Massenet; musical theatre tunesmiths Jerry Bock, Meredith Willson, Jerome Kern, Richard Rodgers, and Leonard Bernstein; jazz legend Duke Ellington, and sublime art songs of Brahms and Schubert. Reserved table seats are $14. Row seats are $12 general and $10 students/seniors. Make a reservation and receive a $2 discount on row seats. Youngsters 18 and under will be admitted free of charge.     I went to HONK Fest up in Fremont tonight and it was great fun! Recommended.
