SUPER BOWL: West Seattle show of Hope for a win

Another West Seattle show of support for the Seahawks, as they get ready to return to the Super Bowl on Sunday (3:30 pm vs. New England) – thanks to Richard Figgins for sharing the photo of Hope Lutheran School students who formed a giant 12 (updated) on the north-campus patio this afternoon!

Cool.  Hope Lutheran School has changed a lot since I attended grades 6-8 there 40+ years ago.

What year did you graduate? We bought the former Seattle Lutheran High school several years ago and moved our 6-8 grades over there.  Lots of great renovations! Our picture is on the newly remodeled patio of our North campus.

I graduated in 1983.   No wonder it looked different to me now that you’ve pointed out that’s the old Seattle Lutheran High School Campus a block north of the original Hope Lutheran School Building, where I attended grades 6-8.

40 years ago it may have still been Holy Rosary Middle school, or before that the girl’s only high school! Before that the land may have been the garden of the nuns. Depends who you ask.

Sorry, comment time is over.
