Army helicopters back, Seahawks flyover-bound

(Added: WSB photo, from South Delridge)

Just in case you missed Wednesday’s hubbub about three U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopters from Joint Base Lewis McChord circling in our area, the base finally officially confirmed they were training for a flyover at tonight’s Seahawks game. The game’s about half an hour away and the helicopters are back; we just saw them flying eastward over White Center.

Thanks. They just flew over my house. I said to myself: what’s up with the helicopters? I know, I’ll check West Seattle Blog. They’ll know!

Just saw/heard them fly over Highpoint. Very cool.

I love helicopters as much as the next guy, but they just do flew by so low it sucked the hot tub cover off of my hot tub. Almost like it was being sucked into a spaceship. I love freedom, but I LOVE my hot tub. This is on a whole. notha.  level.

They went directly over my place on 12th ave sw. I have a hot tub. I was outside sitting with my dog. Even took a video of them flying over. There was absolutely no upward wind or sucking air effect. I call your statement ‘fake news’, respectfully. Go Seahawks!
