We photographed Jeffrey Carlson and Sonia Carlson at the launch party last night for their new business, Sifted Tea. It’s a caffeine-free tea you brew from organic cacao husks, and they’re selling it online – or you can try it at West Seattle Grounds (2141 California SW), where the party was held last night. The husks are sourced from organic cacao farmers in Ecuador.
YAY! Was this advertised? They should or maybe also do a grand opening. I’d love to try it and learn more about process before opening and too busy to explain.
It was listed in our calendar and also spotlighted in yesterday’s daily preview (West Seattle Wednesday). If you click through to their website (on 1st mention of their name) I noticed a link about an “online grand opening,” contest/promotion/etc.
