TRAFFIC/TRANSIT TODAY: Wednesday watch, with wind on the way

(SDOT MAP with travel times/video links; is the ‘low bridge’ closed? LOOK HERE)

7:02 AM: Good morning! Wind’s still on the way later today, according to the National Weather Service, but so far this morning it’s a standard commute – no incidents reported in/from West Seattle.

8:06 AM: Very slow going again today – most routes to the bridge are in “red” on the SDOT map – but still no incidents reported.

Something must have happened. Getting on the bridge on Fauntleroy is at a dead stop basically.

Nothing reported by SDOT or any of the other sources we monitor, but definitely a backup, as the SDOT travelers’ map shows Fauntleroy as red from The Junction to the bridge. If anyone sees anything, let us know!

I guess it’s just incredibly awful traffic. Haven’t even made it the 99 yet

Sorry, comment time is over.
