Post-Election Grief/Relief Walk with Listening to Grief
A guided walk to honor individual and collective grief after a stressful election season.Free, registration appreciated but not required.
1:30 PM-3:00 PMJack Block Park; meeting point TBA
These past few months leading up to the 2025 presidential election have been stressful. No matter how the election turns out, we are all going to feel some grief (and possibly—hopefully—relief) after November 5th. We will still be grieving the ongoing wars and genocides; the effects of climate chaos; the threats to women and transgender people; and all the changes and losses in our own lives. Let’s get together on November 9th at 1:30pm to be in community and in nature with our multitudes of grief.
All are welcome, regardless of how you feel about the results of the election. We will not debate politics, but there will be space to share whatever grief or the release of held grief you have because of this year’s election. Hate and bullying will not be tolerated during the walk. Tamara of Listening to Grief actively strives to be an anti-racist and anti-oppressive ally.
Bring water and wear comfortable shoes. We will walk regardless of the weather. More information at listeningtogrief.com/events. Register at Eventbrite.
