TRAFFIC/TRANSIT TODAY: What’s happening Thursday

(East-facing camera on the West Seattle Bridge; see other cams on the WSB Traffic page)
Routes through/out of West Seattle are “normal” (always a relative term) right now, so far as we’re seeing/hearing.

METRO ALERTS FOR DOWNTOWN: Eastbound Seneca is closed between 2nd and 3rd until the 25th; here’s that alert (and the bus-stop version is here). The westbound Columbia stop east of 2nd is closed through this Friday – here’s that alert.

The Downtown bound 21X that arrived at 35th/Morgan at about 7:35am appeared to be double loaded to the doors—The previously scheduled one possibly didn’t show up.

Shades of a post Metro cut future?

Yesterday’s 55 driver leaving abt 7a was syrprised by the closure. Went right on 2nd, left on spring and stopped @ 3rd and spring to let people off. No training for drivers? He clearly had to improvise.

Due to construction on Seneca -The rapidride into town is using 3rd and Pine as the first stop in Downtown. I would think they could use a closer stop for those of use that work in Pioneer Square. One more reason to be frustrated by the terrible rapidride system
